After our sell-out Wilde seasons, we are back at 16 New Street with our signature style of Shakespeare and unique, immersive storytelling!
The beauty of the work of Shakespeare is that the themes withstand the test of time. Themes of secrets, lies, family affairs and painful goodbyes… and while the people who inhabit them come and go, a house can live through history, withstand wars and battles, riots and uproar, help protect a community and defend territory…
You’re invited through the doors of 16 New Street where candles flicker and the secrets of the house whisper through the walls. Join us as we explore the stories of Jersey’s tempestuous history and the hidden past of 16 New Street, using the work of Shakespeare to help tell our tales.
As we invite audiences to consider their own family history within the rich tapestry of these timeless themes, this unique evening of Shakespeare will uncover the question; If the walls had eyes, what would they have seen?
