This was a square in Kyiv on Sunday 20th February 2022. The beautiful, brave artists, children and educators that we worked with freely happily performing street theatre for the first time.

It’s a piece about love and seeing other ways out of traps and seeing other angles and being tolerant of different points of view and remembering everyone is suffering and we have to support each other.
For the last 6 weeks we have been extremely privileged to work with a group of theatre makers and educators in Ukraine in association with the House of Europe and Arted Net.
We have been introducing them to the way we create immersive, interactive theatre using The Gonsalves Method particularly to try and create street theatre performance.
It has been extraordinary being with such a brave, resilient group and they are hoping to perform in Kiev on Sunday. Their work is being livestreamed on Facebook.
